Dreamers & Doers

LIGHTS supports makers, entrepreneurs, and innovative individuals and organizations interested in the creation of early-stage ventures. We connect individuals with opportunities across the network including entrepreneurial development coaching, strategic planning, business incubation, prototype-to-product development, and makerspace tool training. We’re here for you!

Communities

LIGHTS is deeply rooted in the region, serving coal-impacted & substance use disorder (SUD) impacted communities across Southeastern Ohio, Western West Virginia, and Northern Kentucky. Our Regional Innovation Network provides access to several makerspaces and business incubators across the region. Access equipment expertise, training, and other support to be successful.

Appalachia

LIGHTS has historically served counties in the KY/OH/WV tri-state region, and currently supports a subset of the below. Counties served have been (Kentucky Counties) Boyd, Greenup, and Lewis, (West Virginia Counties) Cabell, Pleasants, Tyler, Wayne, and Wood, and (Ohio Counties) Adams, Athens, Coshocton, Gallia, Guernsey, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Pike, Scioto, Vinton, and Washington.
